Instructions for Joining NING for the North Dakota Study Group

By utilizing a friendly NING site sponsored by Community Learning Exchange (thank you Steve Stapleton and Francisco Guarjardo) the NDSG Planning Committee has established a social network for the NDSG.

Please actively engage in a model that exhibits key elements of what we value as progressive, constructivist educators: Learning by doing! Here’s how:

JOIN CLE/NDSG GROUP IT’S EASY AND TIME FRIENDLY

1. Go to http://www.communitylearningexchange.org (This does not automatically make you part of the NDSG Ning group -- that’s steps 4 and 5).
2. To the far left is a box that says "Welcome to Community Learning Exchange": Sign Up or Sign In
3. "Sign Up Page" (Create a New Account) appears asking for e-mail, password, and verification codes to type.
4. Once completed you are a CLE member you can now join the NDSG group and post and comment to stories. (This is NOT NSDG email list group, just the NING social network page!)
5. Go to the listed options near the top of the page: Home, Invite, My Page...click on "Group" and then select NDSG Group.
6. Click on "Start discussion" or "Reply" and you will be asked: "Like what you see in North Dakota Study Group?"
